A snood is a thing that everyone needs...

Does anyone know what  a "Snood" stands for? I sure didn't. I thought it was a reference to a Doctor Seuss garment  in "The Lorax"...
However, readers more savvy than myself have probably have already divined that a snood is a cross between a scarf and a hood. And what better item to stay warm on set than something that does 2-in-1 duty?
This particular model came from ASOS, a current shopping favorite of mine. I love that in addition to looking suspiciously like a Fraggle, it also reverses color on the inside to lilac, so I can switch it from warm to cool.
Underneath? One of my ultimate, favorite, vintage necklaces from Israel. A hand hammered piece of silver with a dove of peace carved inside. My mother's before me...
Jeans: Paper Denim Cloth, Snood: ASOS, Boots; BCBG, Necklaces: Vintage, Sweater: Zara

Alas, duty calls and I have to don my warm and snuggly snood and get back to set. More soon, when I show you how to dye, shred, and reconfigure things you're otherwise ready to toss! It's all coming soon...

With Love,

Noa B
