Lucky Style, Lucky Score

Pardon the informal snapshots, but I had to share a "lucky little score". Wandering into my neighborhood re-saler, I came across these Lucky Brand, adorable, biker booties with a wood, clog base.
I've been looking for a bootie of this nature for quite a while, but with seasonal changes, it's hard to grab winter style boots in April.

The kicker is that this pair was only $15! But I wear a size 8 and these are a 9. Have no fear--for 4$ a double pair of squishy, shoe inserts solved that problem.
These were in great condition on the inside, and the outside just needed spit and polish. I like Meltonian, black creme shoe polish and Cole Haan waterproof, leather spray, which I promptly used to shine these babies up!
Dress: H&M, Booties: Lucky Brand, Bag: Rafe, Jacket: Vintage Wilson's Leather, Sunnies: Nicole Miller

While I wouldn't ordinarily buy a full, larger size at retail, for 15$ it's kind of hard to haggle out of season. The concessions are often worth it when you consider the savings. And although it's still spring, I just keep seeing these short boots all over the pages of my monthly fashion zines. Some things are a staple, even in April!

With Love,

Noa B
