I had the most delightful morning visit with a girlfriend who's time I've sorely missed!
We took a morning stroll to Abbott Kinney for breakfast, and she was wearing the softest, most snuggly, cotton togs I've ever felt. (See her blog all about the brand here).
I was feeling deliciously casual, and threw on my favorite pair of Jeffrey Campbell "Chainiator" flats. I really wish I'd bought them in every color years ago because they're SO comfy!
I had also picked up this found object necklace the day before on Main Street in Venice. I love the concept: A mother/daughter pair who find old items and stamp them with phrases. Mine said Memories, Journey, and so forth...
...And there's just nothing like making those memories with good friends. A coffee, some time with her "monkey", a little window shopping, and a lot of laughter. Good for the soul!
