A Brief Day Off

Forgive my tardiness this week. I've been in not one, but two computer, crash-and-burn, meltdowns for over a week. And with a fully packed shooting schedule I'm down to blogging with a waterlogged Iphone 4 and my trusty Surface.

But no matter. Today marks a day off. I've still got an AC repair man, a best buy service call, a handyman visit scheduled, an oil change, and an airport run, but here's hoping that by dinner time it'll be smooth sailing as I attempt to finish some of the remaining projects in my new digs. (At least until my 4am wakeup call tomorrow)...

These days my fashion comes in the form of jeans and anything snuggly I can pair them with. It's not that I don't adore my dresses and heels, (or the myriad crop tops I'm dying to start wearing). It's just that between shooting in dusty canyons and using my down day for repair work, there's no room for anything else. It's all about making distressing look attractive!

Casual Sunday: Shoot Day

It's been a crazy couple of weeks filled with set work and location shoots. Because of filming, I find myself perpetually in jeans. (They're the working girl's go-to on set). I really have invested more than I ever thought I would on trend denim and good t-shirts.

This past weekend  I worked with my dear friend Dr Eris, from LA Shrinks, creating a gorgeous, pregnancy photo shoot, (and let me tell you, the woman looks amazing with only 6 weeks to go)!

 My uniform? Distressed denim and some last-of-the-summer weather sandals.

And of course, a few vintage baubles.

Although I'm fervently awaiting the end of the week when I can put on heels and a dress, I'll hold out a little bit longer for a few more shoot days.

The Best, Darn Glam Squad!

I had the privilege of working last week with what I deem, "The best darn Glam Squad" in the biz.

I can't reveal what we worked on, but I can say that this group of gals, (and a couple of choice guys) contributed to what was by far one of the the most rewarding experiences as far as team efforts go. I can't begin to thank them enough for all their beautiful and arduous work. So I'll leave it at that--simply terrific. (You all know who you are).
