Over the last several years I've come to love Rachel Roy and her wonderfully clean take on American fashion. Maybe it was her humble beginnings as a music video stylist, or her first launch into ready-to-wear that I relate to so personally. But with her mid priced collection, RACHEL at Macy's, I can finally afford more of her Cali inspired garb.
I chanced upon this baby-doll number a couple of weeks ago on sale. It's a little more boho/whimsical than what I normally associate with Rachel Roy, but I love the subtle coloration and billowing arms.
It was also the perfect dress for the heat wave I've been experiencing up in Santa Barbara this week. Light chiffon but fully lined gives the perception of sheer without the peek-a-boo factor.
